I worked on this EP throughout 2020 and this song was written over Zoom with Kaity Rae in the summer 2020 during the height of Lockdown.

I had written the chorus one night in my little home studio set up and shared this on Zoom with Kaity and we re-wrote the verses and tweaked the melodies. She did an incredible job of the production and bringing this to life in a Carly Rae Jepson, 80s synth pop inspired track.

It had been the longest length of time that my partner and I spent apart, the same with my friends and as much as Zoom quizzes were fun I really missed how it was before and knew how good it was going to feel being able to hug and be with them again. I knew I wasn't going to take it for granted.
